Not posting to hire Dantonio, but is there a better coach with what he has to work with? Not sure how they have stayed in games against other powers with a talent level always at least 3/4's of a star on average lower running the pro-style. D is always great.
On other guy, has anyone been following Diaco and UConn of late? Hearing all the negative things about him last year by sources citing local coaches (for that matter, people crapped on Narduzzi too, and how the local coaches have rewarded Flood with recruits, SMH), guy has his team on an upward swing. They improve every week, despite how the talent was drained during the Pasqualoni years, and they also seem to get stronger as the games go on. The D is very good, very un-AAC like. Still like Rhule as he's seasoned more, but this guy should get an interview. Earning 1.5 mil now, studied under good head coaches, Cedar Grove guy, maybe we have a fit here that needs to be explored.
