George Washington. Injured last year. After the injury came off the bench for most of the last 16 games for GW. Averaged 7.3ppg over those last 16. 17% from three.

Good kid, had a good freshman year. Great rebounder, can playmake, good on the ball defender with a great frame. Needs to get back some athleticism he lacked after an injury last year. But certainly a Pike guy and hopefully gets back some of his mojo.

You think we are screwed because we added this kid vs. not adding him? We might be screwed but not because of this addition. It all depends how much money we gave him and what have left because we’re adding at least 3 more portal kids. We will have a minimum of 12 and right now we only have 9 max so how about we see who the other 3 are before making statements like this? There was never a chance we were buying 4+ major conference starters or mid-majors everyone was going after. We can’t afford that.
He's not a Big Ten player. I agree with you RU is priced out of the market for real players but this guy is nothing to be getting excited about.

Kid was injured basically all of last season. Pike shooting blanks into the darkness hoping for a score.
Davis, Grant and Buchanan alongside a potential low offense-defensive center?
That seems awful easy to plan a defense against.
He racked up good points against horrendous teams until around Dec/Jan 2024-2025, then got injured and was never heard from again.

Agreed 100%! Play a standard soft 2/3 zone and dare us to shoot taking away everything inside. The one Pike offensive play high pick and roll will be pointless against the zone and no one can shoot.
It is an absolute disgrace that we are in the Big Ten, have supposedly $.4.5M to sign players, and this kid from stupid George Washington is our first sign. A kid who didn't play half the year last year (when it counted) due to injury. Meanwhile, teams like Maryland signing power conference studs right off the bat.
Apparently we don’t have 4.5. Of that 4.5 1.0 is going to come from Vegas where Pike splits it even amongst the team. That’s 3.5. Of that 3.5 1.5 goes to returnees and frosh. That leaves 2.0. If it’s true that Pike splits the Vegas mill evenly every kid gets 80k from that. Then we’re paying our returnees on top of that!?!?!?! Seems poorly managed
