Well, why wouldn't you be shocked? A guy just up and leaves? Is this Ian Thomas part 2 or somehow connected to the other crap going on.
...when it comes to this stuff we've fully entered Bill Simmons' 'Tyson Zone'. There's not much one could say that wouldn't sound at least plausible at this point.

I am not sure we had guys playing that left in the middle of the season but at this point nothing would shock me.

Take it for what it's worth - but I recently spoke with a member of Jacobs' family (met by chance) - who said he justs want to play football and could give 2 bleeps about what was going surrounding the team - and this was very recent and right after the Carroo suspension et al...Thus I'd be quite surprised if Jacobs quit the team...but then again this is Rutgers FB 2015....:)
