Putting my objective hat on, I'm cautiously very optimistic.
Strongest Unit = Cornerback
1. Austin & Hampton back healthy w/ NFL draft aspirations
2. Hayes ready to join them? Now in his 3rd year, we should now see how good he really is
3. Positive reports about Avery at slot
4. Mr. Underrated Wharton
5. Young depth to fill out the position, as it should be rather than as starters
While there are questions marks at Safety such as Hampton's ability to stay healthy, Gray's upside, and exactly who will be ready to provide depth, I'm optimistic that the combined secondary will be STRONG. Part of my optimism is the collective experience playing together. Many will enter the year with 2-3 years playing together

1. Multi year starters Morris and Roberts return
2. Optimism that young studs wait in the wings. Fogg, Devera, and Fatukasi
3. Return of Maddox-Williams and welcome to Malik Dixon
4. Finally a legitimate 2 deep to keep players fresh
5. Favorable early schedule to work out the kinks
6. Expect Morris to start and wouldn't be surprised to see Roberts on the 2nd team
7. Intrigued by Devera plugging up the middle and Dixon vs. Williams vs. Fogg
8. Talent might be there to run multiple 3-4 variations more often

1. Mostly because of depth
2. Reasonable to expect quality starting play from Bateky & Wilkins
3. Several question marks. Is Wilkins a DT or DE? Do Lumor, Previlon, & Turner take the next step? Where will sacks come from? Which of the young guys steps up (Tverdov, Mason, Bordner, Duggan, Onyechi)?
