I have a question for all the b-ball experts. When I watch our team on defense when the ball is down low our guards immediately go into the paint to help out. When the ball is on the opposite side of the court our guard are basically standing at the edge of the paint in both cases they are at least 10 feet off their players and in both cases whether it be a kick out from the big inside or a quick rotation of the ball their men end up with wide open 3 pointers. This is not just this year but I see it all the time these past 3 years with our so called defensive guy Jay Young. My question long winded as it is is shouldn’t our guys be closer to their men to prevent these wide open 3 pointers?
