Depaul game is at All State Arena

I think someone mentioned in a thread a few days ago that we would be playing at DePaul's new on campus arena. That will not be the case. That arena won't be ready till next year. DePaul is on FS1 tonight playing Robert Morris in their old. small on campus gym. The announcers said they will be playing us at All State Arena, or for us old timers, the old Rosemont Horizon. For those not familiar, this arena is like a cavern and is right outside O'Hare Airport on the outskirts of Chicago. Very little home court advantage for them there. It won't be a game that will prepare our guys for the hostile environments they will encounter in Big Ten road games. On the other hand, it gives us a better chance at a win.

When out there a couple of years ago when Carter gave it his all and ripped up his knee.

Although Rosement Arena is near the airport and looks like a shopping mall from the outside, it was a very cool old time arena. I got a kick out of it. Will be sad to see it go.

Don't forget, the B1G HQ is not too far away in Rosemont! There's a nice mini museum with some nice interactive exhibits that's open to the public. Check it out when you have the time!

NJ native Eli Cain plays for DePaul. Willingboro/St. Benedict's. All-Big East Freshman team last year.
