I dont think it has been talked about nearly as much as it should have here regarding how we were 1 play away from going 4-0 in November despite losing somewhere between 6-8 starters for games as well as others for stretches.
Had you told anyone that felter, needham, bailey, lewis, toure, longerbeam, rodgers, every single tight end and powell would be missing time/not playing anywhere close to 100% come november that we’d go 3-1 and be 1 play away from 4-0, youd have built a statue for schiano.
Truly was an incredible coaching job here dealing with the pieces we had to go 3-1 in November.
Also, kudos to Kirk who changed up things on the fly mid season and really had this offense cooking. Excited to see what we do next year on that side of the ball. Need a big portal haul mostly on defense but if defense can be good next year, we should have another fun season.
