Yes, he looked lost. But if he's healthy, he needs to come back and be lost - so he can continue working on figuring things out. Over his first 8 games, he was averaging 5 fouls for every 20 game minutes. Over his next two games, he managed 44 minutes with just 2 fouls... it really looked like he was starting to understand that he couldn't just maul people on their way to the basket.
He needs the last few games just as a laboratory... and it would be his first exposure to Big Ten play, which would help him understand the level of preparation he'll need in the offseason.
If he's healthy - and that's the most important thing - getting back on the court would be valuable.
