Don’t understand this schedule

RU chooses to protect its rivalry with Maryland - it’s our only protected rivalry in the new conference. Penn State chooses not to protect any rivalries. So of course we play Maryland in week 12 and PSU plays Maryland on rivalry weekend. What am I missing??
