Don't forget to watch March of the Wooden Soldiers tomorrow at 9AM on Channel 11

Doesn't the parade start at 9? When does Magic 98 start playing Christmas music?

The Toy Maker:
What do you think of the wooden soldiers?

Santa Claus:
They're nice but they're not what I ordered. I ordered 600 soldiers one foot high.

Stannie Dum:
Oh I thought you said 100 soldiers six feet high.

Some fun facts from IMDB:
  • Henry Brandon, who played the evil Barnaby, was only 21 years old at the time. He was heavily made up to look older.
  • One of the costumed characters looks suspiciously like Mickey Mouse. Disney got his revenge of sorts 27 years later. In 1961, Disney remade the movie, starring Annette Funicello, and featured two comedians obviously impersonating Laurel and Hardy.
  • The character inside the mouse costume was a capuchin monkey.
  • The movie is generally thought of as a Christmas movie; however, it is set in July.
  • And my favorite -- on the back wall of the Three Little Pigs house are framed pictures of "Mother" and "Father" -- a plate of sausages and a football, respectively.

I'm skipping MotWS this year. Already have King Kong (33 version) and Moby Dick loaded on the PC. Should probably do Might Joe Young too but I don't want to go ape shiit
