I've said for years for football and basketball. You don't have to stand to yell as loud as you can. Noise in not amplified any more if you're standing. The students rocked, but the regular crowd was HORRIBLE! TERRIBLE!! We played #1 team in B1G and #3 team in the country within single digits the ENTIRE game and the whole lower level did not stand on Defense ONCE!! I don’t understand. “Beat someone first” well we could win these games if the arena was crazy from start to finish.
Don't remember that, what years ?
Thanks for the memories. I was at that game. Sick as a dog that day & spent halftime throwing up in the men's room. (Sorry, but it's true).
Bad example. That was a 60/40 ticket allocation split for Penn State game and not part of regular seating arrangement. I was a student in the rafters for that one.

True - that was the A-10 policy though. Point is, the visual from the video and TV included a decent amount of rabid Penn State fans since their allocation ran from the lower level at the right of the screen through the 2nd level. Part of the student section (110) might've been allocated to Penn State people too.no way was that crowd 60/40
