Dude FFS he sprained his ankle. If it's a high ankle sprain then he honestly might be done for the year. That's a 4-6 week recovery unless you take a steroid or something close to it.
JaMike just played the best game of his college career…7 pts on 3-6 shooting, 8 assists, 3 steals and 1 turnover…and I don’t remember him getting stuffed at the rim once. Steve Nash would’ve been proud.

That’s bullshit man, these guys want to win. There’s no chance Dylan is shutting it down for business reasons. If it was like two games left in the season and the ankle was iffy and we were 100% out of contention? Who knows, maybe, and I doubt anyone would blame him at that point. But it’s not happening now.
People can be highly paid and still care about winning and in fact I would imagine this describes 99%+ of highly paid athletes. You don’t become a highly paid athlete by chasing the money.

If the rumors are true about this new postseason tournament run by Fox in Vegas paying out NIL and/or providing NIL opportunities, that could put an interesting wrinkle into players considering shutting it down because the NCAA tournament is out of reach.

It's encouraging that half of his assists weren't just passes to a red-hot Bailey, but getting others involved, too. The alley-oop passes to Bailey were great. Then there was his alley-OOPS lob to Grant that went in. I'm pretty sure that was not intended to be a shot.

One turnover and one stuffed shot (I figured I had forgotten at least one stuff) is still fantastic. It’s much better for him to collapse defenses by driving and then finding open people…and Bailey is the top priority “find” for sure.
JaMike does several things at a high level and hopefully he can continue to get better at finding people instead of forcing things. His relative lack of size makes this more difficult unfortunately…so he needs to penetrate with his “head on a swivel.”

Per a recent interview Dylan will be back when the ankle is fully healed.Question is, will it be toward the beginning of February or the middle to end of the month? If we can steal one of the next two games with RAC MAGIC and go on a run, maybe maybe we sneak into the Tournie by getting enough quad one wins?
I wouldn’t say it’s 100% speculation to think he’s actually hurt.
- He clearly got hurt at PSU.
- He could barely walk against MSU at MSG (biggest basketball venue in the country) and stopped playing.
- He was in a walking boot at Northwestern.
Lot’s of evidence to suggest he’s actually hurt, so no it’s not 100% speculation.

Agreed, it was the best game of his season for sure when you consider the level of competition, too. He scored 11 with 7 assists against Columbia, but that's not a B1G road game. Three steals against NW, too. Let's hope that is not a one-off good game and he continues to show growth while Dylan is out.

yup, nba teams want players who don't care about winning--they want to pay a guy millions cause he doesn't care.
He has tried to play while injured or not at full strength multiple times this year. It makes sense to wait until he is more healthy. PG is not an easy position to play with a high ankle sprain.
All important scores, especially the dunk at the end that iced the game for certain.
We don’t have another guard in enough control of their bodies to complete the beautiful two man passing sequence setting up the lob jam for Ace.
