Which means we get an 8/9, and play a top 4 on their home floor in round 2, knowing the way the NCAA treats RU lol!!
Better that way, then not making it.
Getting to the Dance comes first, then worrying about seeding and opponent can start.
I'll worry about making tourney and claim bring on UConn at their house ,if that's going to be the way seed is set up.
Once invited, then I'll claim unfair treatment again.
But you do make a good point of how NCAA treats this program

last year we were in top 16 schools that would have given a RU a 4 seed on the first selection committee printout......so much more work to do
True. The moral of the story is in all accounts we were an NCAA team last year - 20 wins compared to Oklahoma’s 16-16 record that put them in. We can’t leave any doubt this time around.
Meaningless given what happened to the team last year. Just like men's lax ---- control your own destiny. Win the B1G.
Oklahoma wasnt 16-16 and they didnt lose 9 of their last 12 including a loss to a horrible Northwestern team. RU tanked last season, they didnt deserve it.
16-14 with a first round B12 tournament loss to TCU isn't exactly something to write home about.
Agree RU must make sure the collapse they had last season doesn't happen again, if they are in a position to get an invite.
For now and hopefully at end of this season RU is looking like to will get an invite.
B1G play will be the true test and keeping the momentum going after the Maryland game win is a must when playing top B1G programs along with beating the programs RU should and are rated about equal to.
That said: what was so special about a 16-15 Oklahoma program to get them into the dance
I think last year we didnt have a quality win....that win over Maryland is huge if Maryland can stay in the top 10 or 15. RU doesnt have a bad loss yet although Drake is sputtering in their last few games against solid competition now 8-4, it wont hurt RU. Va Tech is 13-1 against middling competition and Gonzaga is ranked. If RU can take care of business in the Big 10...a 11-5/10-6 type season or better than they should be alright. They will have to avoid losses to programs like Penn State though
