Yes we do. Home field up to the Final Four.Do we play at home until sem-finals.
I'll always enjoy laughing at UConn's misfortunes.Interesting that Liberty plays in Big East for field hockey- knocked off UConn in the BE tourney according to the selection show.
Being the #1 seed in the entire tournament is a great honor. Congratulations to the players and coaches for this noteworthy accomplishment.
Interesting that RU's second round opponent could be St. Joseph's, the only non-conference team to defeat the Knights this season. Then, in the elite 8, RU could get Michigan again, which also defeated our team prior to losing in the B1G final. So this tournament will be no walk in the park. The team will have to remain focused, as they have been since losing in Ann Arbor.
Correct. We win our first 2 and we're in the Final 4 where we would, in all likelihood, face Michigan ON THEIR home turf. They're the host of this year's semis/finals.“In the elite 8, RU could get Michigan again, which also defeated our team prior to losing in the B1G final.”
RU is the 1 and MI is the 3 so we cannot see them again until the final. Final 4 matchup for us would be in our side of the bracket MD, UVA, 4 Penn St OR Syracuse. We played all except UVA.
Not until the Final. Final 2.Correct. We win our first 2 and we're in the Final 4 where we would, in all likelihood, face Michigan ON THEIR home turf. They're the host of this year's semis/finals.
Semis and Finals my friend:Not until the Final. Final 2.
That's not his point. We are the 1 seed, Michigan is the 3. Unless the bracket does dumb things, 1 would play 4 (PSU) in the semis and 2 would play 3 (Iowa vs Michigan again).Semis and Finals my friend:
Michigan will host the semifinals and final Friday, November 19 and Sunday, November 21, at Phyllis Ocker Field Hockey Field in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Ahhhhh okay got it, thanks! That's not his point. We are the 1 seed, Michigan is the 3. Unless the bracket does dumb things, 1 would play 4 (PSU) in the semis and 2 would play 3 (Iowa vs Michigan again).
They are on the other side. PSU IS 4 seed. The bracket looks weird. I initially thought the same thing but yo scroll down an see bracket we are in.Being the #1 seed in the entire tournament is a great honor. Congratulations to the players and coaches for this noteworthy accomplishment.

.Rewatched the FH final … Rutgers’ goalie is amazing and a reason why this team has a chance to win it all !
NJ is LOADED in FH…We have been supplying big 10 and ACC schools for decades now in the sport just like so many other sports. That tide is turning..
Not only an amazing goalie (which she is) but always communicating with her back line. It’s like a symphony the way they work together.
There were a bunch of young field hockey players around us that were in awe of the defense and midfield play by RU. I think this team will be have quite an influence on NJ FH for years to come.
FH has the potential to become a perennial NC contender. Keep recruiting in state and landing those stud international players and we will be contenders for many, many years.NJ is LOADED in FH…We have been supplying big 10 and ACC schools for decades now in the sport just like so many other sports. Same with soccer (both), lax (both) and women's crew. No reason these 6 programs shouldn't be elite on a yearly basis. Too much local talent.FH has the potential to become a perennial NC contender. Add wrestling to that equation as well.Same with soccer (both), lax (both) and women's crew. No reason these 6 programs shouldn't be elite on a yearly basis. Too much local talent.
The FH program in my town had a strong turnout for Sunday’s game. They are still talking about it..
