leading the way in the BIG for Rutgers. I know it will take a lot more to get there in football and even BB, but we have some teams bringing it for the school and NJ.

I would say we have a very good shot at our best Directors cup final ranking ever (don't get too excited, just yet, IIRC that ranking wasn't all that high. Maybe in the 60's...) and we just gotta keep building

To be fair, she does deserve some credit. I hope Hobbs takes it to the next level.
Exactly what did Julie do for soccer or wrestling ? I can't think of a single thing. To me, its only BIG exposure helping these 2 sports, nothing else. Could be a scary powerhouse in both if we got even decent facilities...

shes known for Olympic sports...WBB, MBB AND FB should give us the juice necessary going forward with Hobbs to stifle the NSL and other local detracters in the media..

We're already top 10 in wrestling and #4 in women's soccer. I think "powerhouse" status has arrived and, hopefully, will stay. Now...it's time to shoot even higher...no doubt!

There are people on the wrestling board who I think run the SKWC that say they have met with her and she worked with them to find additional money for coaches like Donny P.

Also she recognized that the head coaches of Olympic sports were in cubes while the administration were in offices. She quickly moved the head coaches into those offices and moved the adminstrators to temporary space. She has done other things. I know people are happy she is gone but she deserves some credit.

.

Correct. I'm very good friends with one of them and he became tight with Julie, after initially being skeptical because he had a very good relationship with Tim, and I can say without hesitation that both Julie and Sarah were on top of things with this program and he was one large donor who was very happy with the vision and plans. Suffice to say he's not thrilled to have to go through things with a 3rd AD, however, he's looking forward to meeting with Hobbs and hearings what he's got to say.

There are some big supporters behind this sport, but there could be more if it keeps going upward, and there are big supporters out there for all our other Olympic sports. They just need to be cultivated in the same way, believe in the AD's vision, the head coach, and see upward growth within their respective programs, to provide the same support.

Yes thank Julie in part for this, she threw alot of support behind both programs. Both coaches and staff loved her.
