I obviously haven't seen the report by the Kansas-based law firm, but from the sounds of things from Sarge it looks like RU is angling to fire both JH and KF for cause. This would be a monumental mistake and is typical of RU. The savings would be about $2.3 million from what I've read. When you deduct legal fees from the inevitable wrongful termination lawsuit(s) and potential settlement(s), RU will not be saving that much - if anything.

Even worse, court filings are public and you don't want either JH or KF testifying under oath and airing any further dirty laundry. And if I'm Flood, I reach out to Terry Bowden or another coach from SEC country who is retired (and for which the NCAA statute of limitations has passed) and have them testify as an expert witness as to what REALLY goes down. Auburn was straight-up paying players when Bowden arrived. Unless there is something truly shocking in the report, drug test violations are mere child's play at this level.
