Where is he going to go???
Lets be realistic here, Greg Schiano is not going to take an assistant coaching job anywhere. He wants to be a head coach, and for that to happen he's going to have to return to college football. Out of the Power 5 conferences he only fits in either the ACC or B1G. He's not a fit anywhere out west or down south. As far as the ACC is concerned I would agree that he would take the Miami job in a heartbeat if it opened up and it would be a good fit for both sides. Outside of that happening there really isn't any other viable situations. As far as the B1G goes, all of the premiere jobs got filled within the last year and none of them are opening up anytime soon. Are Illinois or Purdue (if it opens up) really that much more attractive options? GS may need RU just as much as RU needs GS right now.
