Forget Flood, The Rutgers Community must be so proud of this one!

I am pointing out the hypocrisy of many of the inhabitants of this scarlet nation community. What Flood did was wrong no doubt but it is not the end of the world and nowhere near rises to the level of this horrific crime unfolding in court committed by a Rutgers professor. I do not see much alarm by anyone over this crime from the responses on the NJ.com site. True she has not been convicted of anything yet but it sure does not look good. I guess I am trying to give perspective of the difference between what Flood did and this monster who is on trial right now.

BTW- I love the cat!

Just to be clear, you are trying to defend Rutgers by pointing out that a Rutgers-Newark professor might have done something wrong? And because the professor might have done something wrong, we are hypocrites for not wanting other Rutgers employees and students to do other things that are wrong?

The jerk just want you to click on the dying scum lair paper link.

Not trying to defend Rutgers at all. Pointing out that in the grand scheme of things what coach Flood did is minor compared to what another RU employee did. Additionally, pointing out the hypocrisy of many posters on this board who act all indignant at what Flood did and do not have boo to say about what professor rapist did. that's all!

So you are saying that regular posters on a Rutgers football board should not have say anything negative about our head coach taking actions that got him suspended for three games unless we are also actively posting (on the football board) about the (alleged) bad actions of non-football members of the Rutgers community.

Got it.

Rape is wrong. People shouldn't do that, and they should go to jail if they do. If guilty as charged, this professor should be dismissed from the school, too.

There are always going to be people that did worse things than what Flood did, but that doesn't excuse him. He broke a zero tolerance rule. Face it, he's kinda lucky to still have a job.

I want the three minutes back I wasted on this nonsensical, pointless thread.

Rape is bad. Got it.

BROTHERSKINNY - if you are still an RU student, I encourage you to take intro to logic.
