I watched 2019 wing Isaac Okoro this afternoon in an AAU event in Florida. This kid was terrific. Had 14 points, grabbed several rebounds and blocked at least 2 shots.

Unfortunately only stats kept were points. He plays with Athletes Of Tomorrow (AOT) on their 16U team. They are in the Nike EYBL and based in Georgia.

Okoro's AOT team is "up" in the 17U Division of the event I was at and the team is all sophomores except for the point guard who is a freshman. They throttled a legit 17U team of juniors by more than 20 points.

Okoro has a great frame, can shoot it and has a healthy dose of athleticism.

This is great to hear. Every contact could possibly help. I see that Okoro is rated as the #4 SG in the class of 2019.He is already 6'5" tall and is rated the #30 player nationally in the class of 2019 and #2 in Georgia. Maybe Brandon can work some magic and shock the world.

Absolutely. My grammar school team played against Okoro a couple years ago on a national circuit. He played the post then because of size but was crazy athletic as a 7th/8th grader.

Coaches like to say recruiting is all about relationships. Fingers crossed!

The negative is that Knight might get hired away by the time Okoro is ready to step foot on a college campus.

Knight had a far easier job at Pitt because of the success under Dixon as head coach.Rutgers needs to win ASAP to keep Knight past this season.
