When the Spartans make threes like tonight, they are tough to beat. I loved how they responded with an 11-0 tune in 1:47 after LSU had their run early in the second half.

I guess by default I am rooting for Houston in the midwest. Go Purdue, Spartans, and... well I don't care much about Gonzaga vs Texas Tech.

They put them in one bracket so that the cheaters were not discriminated against and they can ensure one is in the final four. They all deserve each other. Surprised LSU wasn’t in that bracket too.

Interesting enough Sampson’s issues seem to have been minor compared to what we are seeing with UNC’s academic fraud and the FBI investigation into multiple programs.

Hard to root for Auburn or NC but I thought Auburn really put on quite a show last night. Seems like the SEC may have been the overlooked conference at this point.

Auburn is the #1 shooting 3-pointer team in the nation. They were all year and since the beginning of the tournament. Can’t overlook the 3-point line, that’s good enough to get them into the elite 8 and maybe the final four also. That said, Miss State lost to Liberty

Remember auburn probably should have lost that first round game. Duke is still alive because of some calls and bounces. The line between winning this losing is razor thin in this tournament, part of what makes it great.
