Wondering if maybe Fridge had more of an impact than we realized at the time. Last year seemed much less uneventful than the years that surround it..

I would actually feel a lot better if he were still on staff to step in if Kyle ends up going

This feels like a reach to me. Fridge was watching tape, eating pizza and coaching practice. Don't think he was a hall monitor in the players dorm

I thought of him as a mentor of sorts to Flood..

I agree with the mentor piece from the perspective that he was a sounding board on decisions on the field whether they be personnel or scheme. But I don't think his presence or lack there of, correlates to the rash of disipline issues.

I also agree that he would have been the ideal band aid if we need to fire Flood mid season.
