Richie didn’t refute the rumor from the Duke board that Dylan will no longer be deciding right after Peach Jam in July, but rather will decide during his senior year.
This cannot be considered good news if you’re a Rutgers fan, as the current momentum seemed to be firmly with the Scarlet Knights. The delay will only give Duke etc. more time to work on him.
I understand teams would’ve continued to recruit him even after a verbal commitment was announced in July, but I would’ve preferred to have the verbal in hand.
Not jumping off a ledge, but it’s worth noting that Dylan will apparently not be announcing in July.
