The more relevant question is how he could possibly be any good if he only rated two stars, since that's all that matters when it comes to evaluating talent.

He is another Darrell Wilson find for Iowa. I know that we missed on a couple of other kids and offered him late. I am convinced that Wilson knows every HS coach in the state, so my guess is when we missed on those other kids, Darrell had probably been hearing from Wadley's coach and so they took a flyer. He still has ball security problems, but when he holds onto it, the kid can flat out run the football.

Iowa also has Lincoln HS (Jersey City) WR Frank Darby committed for next season. Darby is excellent, not sure why RU didn't target him, guess they like our current WR commits better. Darby having a fine season at Lincoln.

PS- current UConn Head Coach , Bob Diaco, is from Cedar Grove NJ. He went to Iowa and became an All American and 2x All Big 10.
