JUST a FYI, you can watch the entire replay of the game on the fox sports app for anyone who missed it, I am watching it now!!
Wow, the stadium is empty.

Optimum/Cablevision also got it wrong, apparently. I just went to look at the DVR of the game, which I recorded from overflow channel 205, which clearly said RU-Akron and my recording is of PSU-BG - and the saddest part is the "info" on the recording while it's playing still says Rutgers-Akron. Fortunately, I wasn't really going to watch it after having been there for it, plus I know I can watch the BTN/Fox replay but man, what an eff up - I'd be apoplectic if I were trying to watch the game, live. I'll have to email Hobbs to fix this, lol.

Yup, it's on regular TV now. At least someone fixed it.
Here is my guess. Those channels are just all pieces of BANDWIDTH that Comcast has. They use that bandwidth for a lot of stuff.. some gets rented by private enterprise for conferences and so on.

I'd guess that de-prioritized extra BTN channels and do so regularly.. to make money elsewhere. Then when teh bandwidth freed up.. they switched back to what BTN was sending out.

I have seen this happen to me with Spectrum.. but it was usually when they had 3 BTN games.. main channel with one and the alt channels has 2 other games.

Always must be ready to go to Fox Sports app.

Also in EB (Lawrence Brook) and it's my understanding with the advent of streaming etc, Verizon is no longer expanding FiOS services (I suppose they may still be expanding fiber to replace traditional copper, but this will be focused on Internet usage)
Yeah.. those politicos who voted to give ATT a sweet deal for rolling out broadband got taken care of.. those who cared.. then ATT did the minimum.. less, really.. they got their tax breaks.. and stoped cold. They also stopped maintaining the copper landline infrastructure.. maybe even sabotaging it themselves.. who knows.. all to cash in on mobile adoption... and roll out more wireless stuff.

ATT doing what corporations do... but NJ politicians allowed it.. hell, they basically funded the screwjob.

-yes, that described it perfectly- I and others who work weekends or abroad rely on B10, I am waiting for an explanation from somebody, anybody, so it does not happen again.

Switched to DirecTV streaming service about a year ago because of the MSG/Comcast non deal.

I was able to watch.

Possible alternative for those looking to switch away from Comcast.

They're still in a dispute with Disney, plus I think they announced a price hike recently despite that.

Who Directv? Ya know I thought I heard something about ESPN. Which shows how much I watch that channel.

I'm all about the local sports, I don't need the nationals.

Was this ever explained/resolved? Didn't matter much to me, as I was at the game, but my recording was the PSU game even though it was labelled RU-Akron. Unacceptable, especially for fans watching live on TV. I emailed my ticket guy last week, but no reply yet.
