Game of thrones. ..oh boy

it's not TV, it's HBO :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That was of course a body double, the CGI head looked weird in some shots but many didn't even notice.

By Harrigton:

My understanding of it. I had a sit-down with Dan and David, we did the Tony Soprano walk [letting an actor know they’re being whacked]. And they said, “Look, you’re gone, it’s done.” And as far as the salary thing goes, that angered me when that story came out. I don’t know where it came from, but it was inaccurate in many ways. It’s going to put questions into your head and into fans’ heads that things are not what they are. Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said, “This is how it is.” If anything in the future is notlike that, then I don’t know about it – it’s only in David and Dan and George’s heads. But I’ve been told I’m dead. I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season. So that’s all I can tell you, really.

But what if he lives in Ghost? The actor does not need to come back.

I think Snow is dead for good.

My belief is that Martin's story will eventually end where it began, with the Starks. Jon Snow blurs the picture. I think that Rickon shows up in the last book / season as the sole remaining male heir to Winterfell.

Then why would he be under contract for season 6 and 7 and have already filmed a bunch of screens for season 6? Just saying.

He's the safest "dead" man in the world.

Where has it been confirmed in writing from HBO or anyone involved in the show that he already shot scenes from season 6?

In the end IDRC b/c the books are all that matter and I have a strong sense that I know what will happen. The show is its own beast though, and I have no doubt that they would have no problem further destroying the book plot by doing their own take.

can't wait for the free HBO Freeview this weekend on Direct TV so I can binge and catch up for the season... LOL:eyes:

oh man... the 3rd and 2nd to last episodes are really going to be something to look forward too. Binge away!

Bran is now under the great weirwood tree where he has fused to the tree to become the new 3 eyed crow greenseer. He can now look out at any place in the world that has a weirwood tree planted and communicate from them. Not to mention he can warg into distant animals and such.
Thanks for the update. Does this mean he can warg into one of the dragons?

Or just refuse to watch it until the books are published which I read that some are planning to do.

Rutgers should have full payouts from the Big Ten by the time the final book is published.

I'm not saying it will happen - GRRM has missed several deadlines for it already - but book 6 currently is scheduled to be out before the beginning of the next season.

There have been deviations for sure, but I don't think that the series would permanently kill off a major character who is important in the remaining books - and the producers have said repeatedly that GRRM has told them where the books are going. If Jon Snow is resurrected in the books, he'll be resurrected in the series.

And do you remember how far behind schedule they released Book 5, at least the paperback version? That was painfully slow, granted for obvious reasons...
