Zippy Broughton - Started for Florida in their 84-70 win over Georgia State. Played 14 min... 2 points on 1-4 FG, 0-2 3PT, 0-0 FT, 5 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL, 1 TO, 2 PF
Mael Gilles - Started for Arizona State in their 71-41 win over Northern Colorado. Played 22 min... 8 points on 4-8 FG, 0-1 3PT, 0-0 FT, 6 REB, 2 AST, 5 STL, 4 BLK, 5 TO, 1 PF
Alexis Morris -Did not appear in box score for LSU in their 82-40 win over Nicholls.

A tough shooting day for Diamond. So many go to players on that NC St team. Perez played extremely well. I'm sure she'll have her shining moments with them but she would have had the keys to the car here with us and the ball in her hands all game

I think Sunday, she and Zippy do battle against each other. And of course, it will be nationally televised. Can't say it enough about how huge an advantage that is in terms of building or sustaining an upper echelon program.

At least BTN+ was High Definition for a change.

I watched the NC St game and was surprised how out of sync Diamond was - she didn’t come with her usual swagger. When the Wolfpack made their run at the end of the game, she was on the bench.

No doubt she’ll be a key contributor as the season goes on, but there’s a lot of guard talent on that roster and her minutes will be shared. During the broadcast it was mentioned that their #1 PG was injured and Diamond would likely be coming off the bench upon her return.

Also remember, the 3 Pt line has been moved back and it will take some adjusting (may explain her poor performance from deep).

I’m happy for Zippy and hope she has a great year. At RU, it was never her talent that held her back, it was the injury bug. Wishing her a healthy season.

Typical performances, based on what we saw here at RU.

That's an impressive 16 minute stat line. I would think she is not going to be happy in this reserve role and will continue to try to impress to stay on the court in crunch time.

Aicha is such a project is years away. She started playing so late.

I think Maori would have done quite well if she stayed here. She has better post fundamentals than Tyia and much more upside. Although a bit slow moving, she still was a big body that had to be dealt with. Georgia has so many posts this year also.
