Its all of college basketball - mens and womens.
I just don't get it.
Is it that college coaches can't draw up an end of game play?
Or call a play?
Even the "boring iso NBA" usually does a screen to force a switch and put a worse defender on the ball handler.
The women think they have to contest every shot too. The situation doesn't seem to matter including when you can't foul. BB IQ goes right out the window. Now another stupid inbounds play. Does #13 ever dribble the ball ?
They are terrible at closing things out

GREAT gut check win! Kudos ladies. This is an excellent signature win for the program heading into the B1G tournament and the NCAA tournament. Way to go!
Why not just play zone instead of chasing people all over the floor like we are actually behind. Have to question some of the coaching at the end. At least we survived the OT.
We are learning how to win close games. Two of the last 3, against good teams, have been down to the wire winners. If we had this figured out earlier we would have put Minny and MSU away too.
Rutgers won, complain all you want about it, but mark it down as a win

I'll admit, I was not optimistic going into OT, but the team made some huge shots and Iowa finally missed some shots.
KK with a huge senior day. 17pts, 6 steals, 4 assists, 6-7 from FT line. (also 6 turnovers but everyone from RU had TO bug today)
Mael with HUGE Fts and really showed up at end of regulation and OT. Double-double 13pts, 11 rebounds.
Arella struggled from floor but showed up in OT when team needed it.
Monster rebounding day for the team. Out-rebounded Iowa 43-30.
Minus last 5min of 4th quarter team defense was also largely outstanding.
Great way to finish the season.
