Gameday Parking - Arrival Time?

I'm sure this has been talked about here before, so I apologize in advance! I'm heading up for the game this weekend from out of town. This is actually my first true road trip to a Rutgers game (graduated in 2012 and have only been back for a game twice, since I work in college athletics and typically have conflicts).

Anyway, I have a couple questions... how early do I need to arrive at Johnson Park, the Greek church, or the old UMDNJ parking lots in order to still get a space? Also, when do those lots open? I'm planning on arriving pretty early, probably sometime around 1 or 2... How are the tailgating atmospheres in those lots?

Thanks Source! Any word on when Johnson Park opens up? May go with that option.

I think Johnson Park opens 3 hours before the game. Not sure about the Greek Church. UMDNJ lots don't sell out, but are a long hike from the stadium without a great tailgating atmosphere.

I think "officially" Johnson park opens 4 hours before the game and the church 5.
Check scarlet knights.com under parking for "official" open times. I would call the church to find out for certain as I know what is listed as "official" isn't true for the season pass lots.

Officially:
Parking lots are open five (5) hours prior to kickoff and close at dusk, except for the Saint George Greek Church Lot which opens six (6) hours prior to kickoff.

Of course at least as far as the pre-paid lots you can arrive at dawn without any issues.
If you park at one of these locations before the attendants, I'm guessing you can park and they will collect your fee when the attendants arrive.
