Football Rutgers Football suffers first loss of the season, as Nebraska wins 14-7

Rogers is a problem. Awful in run support. Weak tackler. and takes himself out of plays with bad angles to avoid contact.

You can’t give the QB that much time. You just can’t. I’m not even impressed with their QB. He should be a Heisman level with the time he has - at least in this game.
Our DL may not be Big Ten level yet. Hopefully new recruits will change that in a couple of year. LB core leaves a lot to be desired after Powell. On that last pass, M. Walker looked out of position.

Listening on my headset while watching the roundball game.
I need halftime badly.
The next 2 weeks, the playoff games are AL only.

This is like watching the Ravens in the playoff loss to the Chiefs last year, when they had the #1 rushing attack in the league and gave their RBs 8 carries.

Incredibly frustrating when overcoaching loses a game you could win.

Left guard can’t block.
Why did they stop trying to run the ball
Defense looks gassed in the first half.

No OL protection for Passing. Greg : see Nebraska protection.
D will be gassed in the 3rd Q,
The wheels are falling off now.
Exactly. Don’t put him in the position to need to buy time. Run the damn ball or free him up with some draws, screens or play action.

We were running all over them and we killed momentum. Got pass happy instead of BALANCE!

On D our line is just not putting pressure on and Lewis invisible.. has been all season.

Don’t really disagree but this game so far has been on the offensive play calling. We’ve had 3 or 4 opportunities in Nebraska territory and shooting ourselves in the foot over and over.

Agreed but idk what he was thinking throwing into triple coverage. Not his best half thus far.
Yeah he’s sucked today. Part of that unfortunately is the loss of Felter but that’s the new norm so it is what it is.

The reality there though is throwing it up in the air for anyone to get in an area where there isn’t an open field ahead is the right play on 4th down when your about to get taken down in the backfield. Throwing it away gives them the ball at the line of scrimmage so they are further back with a pick and you also never know - maybe your guy gets it.

Well, unless things change in second half, the good thing is we can stop drinking our own kool aid and understand that our defense is a much bigger weakness than we want to admit.

Well hopefully the coaching staff throws out field goals now. 7 or nothing every time

1) Our DL is terrible 4 sacks 4-1/2 games is terrible.
2)Give Dremel a shot he proved last year he can get open. None of these receivers are getting open
3)stop running everything 100% shotgun and start letting the ****ing RB's run downhill
4) stop rolling AK to left side to throw across body

Lots of things that need to be corrected and most of it is outside the sidelines.

2.0 and Kirk continue to underwhelm in their game day prep and play calling.

I disagree about game day prep. Think that’s Greg’s strength. Pretty much always come out strong. It’s in game X and o’s and adjustments that he’s always been terrible at

I feel like we’re vulnerable to misdirection and disguise like that TD. The screen that went for a long play was similar. We’re aggressive and that can bite us at times.

We look the same as we do every year once we get into big 10 play. ACC sucks and we’ll beat whoever they serve up to us. Whoever the QB is turns into a pick machine once the conference slate begins.

KC offenses not known for coming from 14 behind.
Meanwhile Nebbie runs a slick offense.
Nice to see someone not running beans-n-franks plays every down

We had an offensive rythym with our running game in the first quarter and then nothing, thank to KC
