Getting out of the blue lot

Is a f*cking disaster.
I'm at 1 hour and I'm not even close to getting out of here
Thank God I bailed in 4th because the blue lot madness was already starting to build. Took me forever to get into it because the bus does the drop and then all of those people walk in front of the entrance and the cops are too busy giving morons blocking traffic directions.

I bailed in the 4th too but I'm still here somehow. Seems that they're letting every single pedestrian that needs to get to the rac buses pass by and they're not letting the cars out

One of the big problems is the walkers going to lots past the blue entrance. They don’t let the walkers build up And let 15-25 cars out. If there’s a Walker within 100’-200’ of the entrance to blue they hold up traffic and wait for those walkers.

It was such a cluster. I don’t know how they thought walking a few thousand pedestrians across the exit to the lot was going to work, but they need a plan b

Were you parked all the way in the back by the exit? Cuz I was parked up in the front along the fence by the rodkin center and it took me 65 minutes to get out of that freaking lot
I was parked in the middle. But closer to the back than the front. I left the game with 4 minutes left. Walk to my car and drove off. If was fairly easy. They only let us make a left but that was ok for me.

Green & Scarlet were similar. Police standing there just watching the cars, not directing traffic. I'm in Green lot and it took at least 30 minutes to get out. They allowed 4 lanes to form up at the lots and then forced them down to 2 lanes approaching River Rd. by parking a police car across the lanes. Police were not doing their job.

Sure they were. They were cashing those sweet OT checks.

I just want to go home...
It's been like that for 20 plus years for sellouts.
They stop the cars leaving for the pedestrian walkway.
It's the worst lot to park in for this reason. Every other lot is easy exit accept for blue. Won't ever park there again

Ding! Ding! Ding!!
We have a winner!

No one knows what they are doing regarding traffic operations at Rutgers
Totally disagree. I pulled into the yellow lot and park and set up tailgate with no issues. Perfect day/ night for tailgating. The boardwalk is a hit with families loving it. Iowa fan thought it was awesome. Walked in stadium with very short line. Student section was awesome , new lights were pretty cool. Left the game with around 10 minutes to go got in my car pulled out of the Yellow lot with no traffic and was on 287 within 10 minutes.

In the last 3 weeks I have been at the US Open and that was the worst I have ever seen and I had a parking pass for supposed "VIP's" took us an hour to just find the lot and no one , cops etc had not idea where it was.

Went to Temple game last week. Took forever to find a lot that wasn't for reserved parking. Getting out had to wait on a 4 lane road for 15 minutes so people could cross the road with no police to direct traffic.

Can RU fix some issues on game day, probably but all in all I am very happy with how things run.

PS have not seen the MCO cops at all harassing the younger crowd at least not in Yellow.

It's worse this year because the busses for the RAC are now to the left of the Blue lot exit. Pedestrians walking have increased 10 fold.

I might have just not noticed, but I haven't seen them at all yet this year. I think they might have replaced them with cops from nearby towns instead.

If drivers didn’t exit on the wrong side of road going in the opposite lane on the left of the double yellow line then you wouldn’t get the bottle neck at the bottom of the hill by River Road.

I parked there for an event earlier this year and it was one of the most incompetent operations I've ever seen. Overstaffed, terrible flow, waste of time

Considering what it costs to park in that lot they need to fix it. You should complain. It ruins the gameday experience for fans that pay alot.

And that is why police need to control that at the top of the lots before the bottleneck is created. It was a free for all.
