Gopher Baseball Will Play at New Vikings Stadium

During the Iowa/Minnesota baseball game yesterday on BTN, the announcers mentioned that the University of Minnesota will play 16 games next year in the new Vikings' stadium. These will include tournaments with PAC 12 and ACC schools. Not sure if Rutgers is scheduled for a trip to Minnesota next season.

One empty looking joint! Other than the novelty of it all...even SEC and ACC baseball don't draw much past 10k...and that's the really good teams...a baseball game in a massive football facility...yikes...

Stadium is designed to accommodate baseball, but will feel quite empty. Maybe the plan is early season when weather is iffy out here.
