Nice article. I hope he finds success during his final year. I still on the side that Rettig should have been given a shot during the 2015 season. As the article stated, there was really nothing to lose by doing so.

x2. Flood's reluctance to play him never made any sense when it was clear that Laviano was not capable of getting it done. I give Rettig a ton of credit for handling the past 2 years as well as he did. Nice to see Hart step-up and serve as a mentor to him as well. Was always a fan of his.

Hart was the quintessential game manager. He was undersized and had a weak arm. He was smart and didn't make a lot of mistakes but he was Chad Pennington.
