40's. Will be a tight race with Cuse
You guys got 3 players that other teams want. The rest of the class is over rated. Don't know how half of them got a 3rd star. This class looks floodish to me with the exception of Clark, Melton and Fogg.Huh? 'Cuse sitting at 49 with ZERO 4-star and only (7)3-star out of 19 with an average of 2.37. We're at 32 with (3) 4-star and (12)3-star, out of 18, for a 3.00 average.

Why dont you add espn?"3 players that other teams want'? So what? That doesn't mean they're getting them and, as of now, it doesn't look as though they will. We're also in line for a potential flip or two. Oh, now let me completely shoot you down, because when all 3 services agree, as such, they're pretty much on-target:
Rivals RU(32) Cuse(49)
Scout RU(30) Cuse(52)
247 RU(31) Cuse(50)
....doesn't get any clearer than that IMHO.
Jones, Beaty, Vretman, Ocyechi, Hayek, Jones, Duggan. Thats 7 3 stars with no other power 5 offers. Wormley and Barrow only other P5 offer is from BC. Not impressive."3 players that other teams want'? So what? That doesn't mean they're getting them and, as of now, it doesn't look as though they will. We're also in line for a potential flip or two. I see you conveniently left out Bryce Watts. You remember him yes? The kid you tried to pressure for a commit on his visit to you but he arrived there already knowing he was RUYou guys got 3 players that other teams want. The rest of the class is over rated. I would guess about 40 or so when all is said and done. Which is respectable but probably not going to get it done in the long run unless there is a ton of growth for this staff in the next couple of years. Ash has done a good job with Clark and held serve with Melton (would have been a disaster not to get him), beyond that this class is very Flood-like. '18 will be critical for him and he's probably going to have to do an outstanding job to bring in some top players.
Don't want this taken as an anti-Ash - just that he was put in an incredibly difficult situation. Best RU can hope for is that he does a nice job recruiting despite the on-the-field results over the next couple of years and raises the talent level significantly. Whether he is here to reap the benefits will require patience. And no idea if he will be able to pull it off at this time.
The class rankings have started to balance out a bit. We're down to 18 kids and sitting at 33. I highly doubt we finish above 40 but still expect what most of us hoped for, and can "work" to build the program back, about 35. Can't lose any of the 4's and gotta close strong with maybe a flip or 2 and some solid 3's. I would have to think that Lewis' play has earned him a 4th star, too, but I guess we'll see soon enough. I like this class a lot so far. Gotta replace the RB's though!
I don't see Lewis getting the 4th star, but that is no big deal - he is one of the best 3 recruits in the class. Need to keep adding a QB like this each year.
The RBs are important because you need athletes in the class whether they end up at RB or not. You need to keep adding kids like Taylor and Lovett to the roster.
I like the OL with Clark and the project from CT. Melton will be a player. Beyond that it's pretty "meh" - maybe the WR from the Bronx will end up being a player. Not a huge fan of Fogg - could be decent, but not the kind of recruit that is going to be an all-B1G type of guy IMO.
Why dont you add espn?
There are also teams ranked ahead of us like Duke, Houston, Oregon State, and Iowa State who each only have one four-star at the moment. We'll probably be passing them.I dunno, there are a bunch of teams with smaller classes that could pass us if we don't add more quality, likely 6-8 3* or higher...Stanford, Texas, UCLA, TCU, OKST, Utah, VT, Wisc, UL, ASU, Ole Miss, possibly Iowa. That puts us low to mid 40s.

Bryce Watts is electric. This class has serious speed at the skill positions. Correct. We have a higher per-star "average" then the following teams currently ranked ahead of us AND fewer commits:
23) Louisville, 2.91, 22 commits
25) Duke, 2.9, 21 commits
27) Houston, 2.85, 20 commits
28) Oregon State, 2.85, 20 commits
32) Iowa State, 2.89, 21 commits
34) Rutgers, 3.0, 18 commits
And if we can pull in a Markquese Bell(4 star) and a few other high 3 star recruits, it will be a nicely ranked class.
That's the key. We have to close strong & finish with a 3* avg or better & where we are or move up in the rankings. Finishing in low to mid 40s is where we finished in 2013: 44th with 2.82 avg stars (22 total, 1 4*, 16 3*, 1452 pts). And if we can pull in a Markquese Bell(4 star) and a few other high 3 star recruits, it will be a nicely ranked class.
losers? You don't want to bring that up. Lol.ESPN is a joke.
Can we delete Sarah posters posts please mods? No one cares about those losers anymore.
I agree. Those 4 commits are great gets. Lewis didn't have a lot of P5 offers though. Clark will stay committed only because he wants to play with his brother. I don't blame Ash for sacrificing a scholly to get himLol at saying this class is flood Esque minus the four stars, are we supposed to pretend those guys aren't coming? While this class is not going to close the gap on the Ohio states of the world, it is good enough to pass Purdue and illinois. That's a start. Also, melton, Clark, fogg and Lewis are bigger catches than any player flood brought in.

Yes I remember. The reason why I left him out because I think he is a good player and should be rated higher. I think he is a 4 star athlete. He had other P5 offers though. Another reason why I left him out.I see you conveniently left out Bryce Watts. You remember him yes? Lewis has offers from Georgia, Iowa, Wake Forest, BC, Temple and probably would have gotten many more offers from P5 schools had he not committed to RU so early.I agree. I get it. I don't like those aruments. We can say that about any early commit for any team. Im aware of Iowa. Thats a decent offer. The Georgia offer is nice. Is it still commitable? Devito been committed since April and continues to get offers. Texas A&M and Ole Miss were most recent.Lewis has offers from Georgia, Iowa, Wake Forest, BC, Temple and probably would have gotten many more offers from P5 schools had he not committed to RU so early.
