Thank you Mike and everyone else. My only B-day wish is a W on Saturday. That would be so sweet. I am old and hope that someday I will see RU again make the NCAA. It has been way too long. First though we need to get through a .500 season. It would be nice if this could be our season of finally making a winning season.

Happy Birthday Art. I do not know you personally but only from your passionate posts on these boards. A long suffering Rutgers fan like a lot of us. I wish this year’s team and then next year’s team gives you your wish for Rutgers basketball. Enjoy!

Bob, I have had season tickets for 30 years since Nov 1989. The victory over Penn State in the A-10 final swayed me. I attended my first RU game on March 6, 1971 when RU defeated Penn State at the Barn 84-70. When Phil Sellers and Mike Dabney came to RU in Sept 1972 I really began to follow the team. By the 74-75 season I was a huge fan and Louisville beat us in the NCAA. In the 75-76 season I attended 13 games. When the RAC opened in 1977 I began to attend almost every home game. However I didn't buy season tickets until Nov of 1989.
 
Happy birthday Art. We finally have some teams to make you proud. Keep the faith and we will get back to the Final Four soon.
 
Thank you Mike for bringing these memories back. Today was a most enjoyable day after last night which really was a low point for me. I hope RU can start bouncing back. It was depressing last night as losing to our rival was a performance that most of us never expected but no players are ever perfect for every game. That is why games are played and there are often upsets. I have seen 11 practices already this season and I know how hard our players and coaches work each and every day. It is a long season and we need to continue to pack the RAC (Jersey Mike's). GO RU.
