Yes Fisher and the GM Snead both just got extensions. Not sure I agree they earned them but they did. The owner has a ton of money but I doubt there is any substance here.

.... that's right.... four major/coveted recruits are making their school choices over the next few days.... two 5-stars, and two 4-stars... and all four of those recruits are predicted by many folks to most likely choose Michigan. So... I would not be surprised at all if OSU grad Albert Breer is just messing with the heads of these recruits!

So when will Jimmy come out and say "No truth to the rumor, I am staying". Odd that Fischer was whacked the very next day yeh?

Michigan coming off of Hoke so despite Michigan not beating OSU I think their fans are ok for now. Add to that OSU is a top 2 team in the country over the past 5 years under one of the 2 best coaches in Meyer. Also, the score didn't say it (which is the end all/be all obviously) but they outplayed OSU in OSU this year.

At the end of the day not sure how much you can upgrade from Harbaugh, or more to the point that you would even want to. Harbaugh will go down as a legend if he stays.

Michigan outplayed the Buckeyes for almost 3 quarters. If you look at the final stats, OSU out gained the weasels in total yards 330-310, rushing yards (where the game is usually won) 206-91, and first downs 24-17. Michigan had a 17-7 lead with the ball late in the 3rd quarter. The Buckeyes out gained the weasels 216 to 74 yards from the 6:30 mark of the 3rd quarter to the end of the game. How does that equate in Michigan OUTPLAYING the Buckeyes ? The only one to blame for the late collapse is Harbaugh (and his staff). Those "questionable/so-called bad" calls in OT would have never come into play without the Michigan late collapse. Call it whatever you want, but Michigan did not outplay OSU: the stats AND SCORE prove otherwise

I doubt he leaves after 2 years. At Michigan as long as he wins 9-10 games year and makes a run for the B10 championship every 3 to 4 years he will have high job security.

Is it better to consider the Rams job now with a new stadium on the horizon or the Jets job in a year? What if the Lions job opened up (not this year though since they are playoff bound) or the Browns / Bengals? You may also see Indianapolis, San Diego, and Chicago as potential landing spots.

As a player he played:
- 6 years with the Bears
- 3 years with the Colts
- 2 years with San Diego
- 1 year with Detroit, Baltimore, and Carolina

He certainly isnt leaving for the Rams. You don't give up a great job to go to a team that sucks and has no QB.

Say it ain't so, gamesmanship in recruiting wars. Harbaugh would never participate in such things. LOL.

In all seriousness, I think you're right. I don't see Harbaugh leaving . . . .YET. He has Michigan on the verge of being an annual contender (the brief exception being the Hoke years), but I do see him leaving for another shot at the NFL, IF (when) the right opportunity arises.

Breer was on Dan Patrick's show this morning. He conformed that his talk with Cowherd was completely speculation on his part. That there was no facts or inside information to this discussion and didn't present it as fact. As I said early there is no source to this rumor because it's not a rumor. Just some guy speculating out load. And than people running with it as fact.
