I recalled Coach Young at CC meeting indicated that Shaq would probably have surgery after the season and that he was limited this year lacking lift. We will need Shaq for significant minutes this year so hopefully he's at full health.

He was at the RU Scholarship Reception with a boot on his foot, using a cart. So I'd say, yes, he did.
Thanks Mighty ... good news it will be good to finally see him at full health.. anxious to see him play this year with bigger role.
Foot problems are always going to be one of the worst injuries you can get.
Doorson has a nice degree, and it will be useful. I hope he turns it around.

I can't imagine all the extra weight he was carrying around helped matters much, either. Big men always struggle with foot/knee issues, and he was carrying almost 330 pounds at points before last year.
Shaq has about 3 more weeks in the cast...

He played well as a freshman during our upset of Wisconsin at the RAC. I'd like to see Shaq back to that level of mobility and see how he can impact the game
That's to keep the weight off of the foot. It's fairly common for people who have surgery on their feet to use the carts now a days
It's only to keep the pressure off the foot. Standard procedure. As BKin118 said it's a positive to get him to where he needs to be.
