To get the boys up for this game, under those conditions, with very little to play for, in what has been a house of horrors for us, and coming off that awful loss, is worth saluting.

This year is still somewhat of a disappointment bc if, at the start of this season you'd told me we'd go 7-5 with this schedule, I'd have bet almost anything you were wrong. There is no shaking that. Winning the Illinois game would've salvaged the season as it would've given us something significant to hand our hats on. That said, I'm proud of the boys showing up for this game where we've historically gotten rolled given the circumstances.
