I got a chrome block R for the back of my car. For those unfamiliar, it's about 2.75" tall. I'm taking suggestions for where to position it.

(not my car, but same car)

Midway between the A3 & the plate. Even with the plate numbers because it looks like it curves a bit from there & the chrome won't hold. The glue on that chrome R sticks well....make aire you are happy with your spot because there are no do-overs.

I'm partial to the right, as you know...

In the flat between the plate and the bottom edge of the diagnal portion of the lens.

If you must place on the right, u go with vanity plate "St8UofNj" then place R next to it.

Left side of your sunglasses until conference play begins, then move to center.

Interesting responses. The fact that nobody has come up with my initial thought tells me that maybe it's a stupid idea - I was thinking about putting it next to the '3', so that it says A3R.

First confirm trunk is magnetic option. My Q5 is not on hatch. Good thing I have my chrome Block R hitch cover. [banana][banana][banana]

It's not a magnetic device. It goes on with body tape, exactly the same way that the current badging is affixed.

Remove the 2.0t Quattro badges and replace with the R.

That's actually not a bad idea. Except that the car would then be subject to confusion with the lesser 1.8t non-Q, which is badged only as an A3.

No small number of Audi guys do totally de-badge their cars, but I've never been one of those guys.

On the other hand, how sick would it look to have it totally de-badged with the chrome block R centered in place of the rings?

Be different...put it on the rear window centered and toward the bottom

Meh.. See if you can find a decent 'S', keep the '3', and badge it 'RS3'..
