Help Penn State pick their Whiteout game

you're handling the news quite well.

Glad you see my point.
It's better to strive for honor than put a football game before doing the right thing.
For me RU doing the right thing is not being part of a promotion to sell tickets for an opponent that has been less than honorable in the past.
Let them prove they are changing the way they run their FB program and then it might be worth Rutgers to consider being part of promoting
the road game against that school.
Rutgers fans should go see their school play at Beaver, but not make a bigger deal out of it than it should be.
That is playing a potential rival at their house, even if that potential rival doesn't deserve respect because of its past actions.

.

You realize all mighty and holy Rutgers scheduled an out of conference series against Penn State, right? And then went all in on playing 'TSFP' in prime time as their first B1G game?

Prove to who? You? You won't be happy about the way Penn State runs its football program until it stops beating your ass. Let's be honest about that at least.

Penn St trolls don't like the truth and it was in 1995 RU had it's last OOC game against the dishonorable Nit program.
Playing in the B1G puts that school on RU schedule, but RU doesn't have to go out of its way to help fill Beaver Stadium ,
RU fans will go there because not so happy valley is a close road trip and nit fans will jump at the chance to see their potential rival.
As for losing to the criminal empire, RU's program was not big time most of the years it lost and didn't support the program when it started
playing a full big time schedule.
If the Nits lost most of the games to RU, those questionable characters they recruited , wouldn't have been worth Paterno protecting them like he did
Paterno was good at hiding anything that put Penn St football in a bad light, no matter who it might hurt by doing that.
Had the AD , VP and President of PSU doing the same and even with them gone, the new cast of characters running State Penn have the same characteristics as the old cast did.
FSU ad rape allegations buried, the President of PSU was part of that burial.
Vanderbilt's HC had questionable contact with a rape victim his [players were involved in, he's at PSU now running the team.
Penn St's AD I won't accuse of being involved in any coverups while at Cal, but sure she'll be a part of hiding wrongdoing by Penn St athletes

Back to Penn St beating RU's ass, true enough and I admit the type of program RU had back in the day made it easy for the Nits to put a whopping on them , but cupcake city is over and this isn't your fathers Rutgers Penn St is playing now..
Also recent developments exposing the Nit program's habit of covering up criminal acts , brought to light the true depth of Penn St's win at all cost
agenda, showing what wasn't seen before 1995 in full view after Coach Emeritus was caught and proved the Nit HC used his "so-called" good reputation to make criminal acts by his players look like youthful transgressions and used his influence to have the local police go along with that by dropping major charges and turning every criminal act into a minor complaint.
So RU , without the knowledge back then, did have PSU on their BE OOC schedule and before that played the cupcake game for the money ,
when RU was more of a D-1AA team and agreed to 2 for 1s with RU's home games at the Meadowlands.
Nits can brag all they want about those wins, but they were games Penn St were expected to dominate because of how RU FB wasat the time.
I don't consider any RU-PSU game before 2014 anything to be upset about, but know the petty NitWit trolls think it's a big deal.

MADHAT1, I'll give you this. You're an amusing sort.

Seems like one poster ITT is certainly holier than thou. I'm sure he will not even bother to watch the Rutgers vs. PSU game. If so, he's a hypocrite. In fact, I can hardly believe that said poster continues to root for Rutgers after they knowingly joined a conference that has a member who knowingly covered for a pedophile.

Madhat, how dare you criticize the success with honor mantra. See article from 2011 which clearly proves you wrong.

Penn State football has finally returned to the top five, unfortunately for the wrong reasons.
In a “special investigation” done by Sports Illustrated and CBS News on crime and college football, Penn State was tied for 4th with 16 players charged with crimes heading into last season. The investigation, which was done only on teams ranking in last year’s preseason Top 25, examined how many players on each team had criminal records at the start of the 2010 season. Pittsburgh topped the rankings with 22 players followed by Iowa, Arkansas, Boise State, and Penn State.

I support RU even when they play scum. Doesn't mean I like seeing RU play a dishonorable program, but follow the Scarlet Knights and know they make a great effort to run a clean program. So I watch all the RU FB games I can, but don't expect to like RU playing Penn STt until the Nits make an effort to run their FB program in a proper manner and stop lying about their sorid past.

As for the article showing when Penn St and Rutgers planned to renew their football series:
The true depth of Penn St's depravity wasn't know in 2009 and ( though I like the man) Greg Schiano was a fan of the pervert protector.
Like Paterno fooled the public from knowing just how low he'd stoop to win, he fooled Schiano and Rutgers into thinking he ran a clean program
that tried to give some kids of questionable character a chance to improve in Lawlers Valley.
Paterno being somewhat of a mentor to him, Greg didn't look into the type of recruits Paterno brought in , thinking it was Paterno's decision.
But when he became HC, recruiting the type PSU was willing to accept, were few and far between when it came to RU offers.

Look at Vanderbilt's old HC, before he was hired there, very few problems with the players on roster.
After he was hired, major scandal in which he inappropriately contacted a victim of players he recruited, which made him the logical choice to lead the criminal football empire called the Nittany Lions .
Just like FSU's President was the logical choice to lead PSU after he helped to cover up a rape by not pressing the issue when he should have.

What some nitwit trolls call hypocritical and/or amusing , is only speaking honestly about a football program and school that puts wins over common decency and those nitwit trolls have no way to defend the Penn St way of running a FB program because in every Prison ( across the land), many of the prisoners could be the ones saying: We are Penn St." because they are the type Penn St recruits.
Hell they made a scumbag Coach Emeritus , even though they knew he was accused of something and in the Penn St tradition, it was ignored
because he was part of " We Are Penn State"
Somewhere deep in Pennsylvania's prison system , late at night, Coach Emeritus calls out : I am Penn St and don't you forget who I represent!!!

That's it for me nit trolls ,I've had my say and will wait for your foolish whines with bated breath ,but I'm done trying to impart knowledge in those who don't seem capable of understanding the truth.

@MADHAT1 not trolling at all. You said you didn't want any part of promoting a game against PSU. Interesting since you will support it by watching. BTN appreciates your viewership and I appreciate the revenue it generates for Penn State.

It's really creepy watching the number of PSU cultists that crawl out every time there's a PSU topic here.

No one can disrespect your program like your past leadership, so why don't you go spend time trolling them.

Yes, well we might take in your knowledge if you had any to offer. You're just jealous that soon PSU will be competing for championships and Rutgers likely won't. By the way, I've said many times here that I have a Rutgers degree. Please don't devalue the degree I paid for with my own coin by your petty rants.

Four things more important to me than Penn State's white out game... actually Penn State's football program in general.

1. The shape of Rosie O'Donnell's vulva.
2. The mating rituals of Equatorial Pygmies.
3. Michelle Obama's theory on how ionic compounds are formed.
4. Fish testicles.

Mad much? And please spare is the "clean" Rutgers program b.s.--RU was penalized in the early 2,000's for recruiting violations, which seem to be so forgotten by you fellas. Carry on...

I'm sorry did you just try to compare our incredibly insignificant issue to the biggest coverup of a heinous crime in college sports history?

Glad we're not the white out. Now can rewatch the great win at home without having to listen to the announcers every 3 seconds saying "what an atmosphere" even though we'll be beating them!
