This is wrong. Win vs PSU does not clinch, still need Indiana to lose (to either us or Illinois) OR need Illinois to lose twice (to Inidiana and PSU)
I agree . If we split and Indiana wins 2 and Illinois splits , the 3 of us are 8-12 and we lose all tiebreakers to each of them. Problem solved, Just Win Two!!

Clinched the 12th seed with Nebraska loss ... win tomorrow and no worse than 11th!

Interestingly enough, 9-12 in the standings play a virtual round-robin in their final 2 games. RU and Illinois at 9/10 both play PSU and Indiana at 11/12. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

10. Rutgers (7-11)

– Can clinch single-bye with win vs Penn State or at Indiana
– Can jump as high as #8 seed with 2 wins + Minnesota loss + Ohio State loss + Illinois loss
– Can fall as low as #12 seed with 2 losses + Indiana win at Illinois + Penn State win over Illinois
– Seed range: 8-12

As was already pointed out, that first scenario is incorrect. Need a win tonight and an Illinois win over Indiana.

Based on Rutgers' loss to Penn State tonight, it looks like the only way to finish 10 or better is to beat Indiana. If we lose to Indiana, we would lose all tie-breakers and finish 11 or lower. If we beat Indiana, we finish at 10, unless Illinois loses out, in which case we finish at 9.
