I wouldn't say the striping was that bad, especially considering the rain. The stadium is pretty striped.
I think you're right. It is like there wasn't enough light, or maybe they down graded it when they stitched it together.
Last time they took this picture I seem to remember the camera was on a stand that rotated on it's own. This time they relied on a man to slowly rotate the camera. Not sure if this was the issue or not. The conditions were very similar but the quality not so much.
Gotta say for the amount of complaining on here about how plans it looked I think fans did a pretty good job. Shocker people here exaggerated it.
Really? Outside of the actual visitor section it's pretty scattered. Especially based on the trajectory of the two teams.

Once the rain jackets got put away it appeared that participation in striping the birthplace was pretty high - much better then I expected. Good job. However, the contrast between red and black was not as high as between yellow and anything else.
