RU is in good hands. Nice hire by Hobbs. And nicer job by Coach Pikiell.

“Steve was not born with a silver basketball spoon in his mouth,” Fraschilla said via phone Thursday. “He earned everything.”

“These are small milestones they’re having in the Big Ten, the kind of thing you can build on,” Fraschilla sad. “I was in that league (as an Ohio State assistant), and it’s a great, tough league. It’s a job that will hurt your soul, because just when you think you’re getting over the hump, you’ll lose a buzz-beater or you’re lose a 12-point lead to a team at the top of the league.”

Obviously, Fraschilla was channeling Nostradamus leading up to the Iowa game.

If we blow a 12-point lead at Michigan State on Wednesday night...

I'm not a twitter guy (happily), but those who are so inclined should bombard him with our thanks for the 2 game jinx.

Leave my buddy Franny alone. We went to HS together, and spent tons of time in the gyms(James Madison HS, Brooklyn NY). Still can't believe all the success he has gotten over the years.
