Hobbs responds to Mailer re tickets

Good job by Hobbs.

Anyone that cares about Rutgers University and the athletic department has surely been frustrated and disappointed in the past few years during the tenures of previous athletic directors.

But can't the author praise Hobbs without bashing the previous ADs, each of whom had strengths and weaknesses. I'm sure that Hobbs, like everyone, is not perfect and also has strengths and weaknesses.

It is early but Hobbs has had to exceed everyone's expectations at this point. I don't think the MBB and FB coaching staff hires could have reasonably been expected to be better. Combine that we the already improving Olympic sports and there is a real good vibe right now about RU athletics for those paying attention. I just hope Ash can work a miracle and coach the current roster up enough to be competitive this season and really accelerate the process.

Didnt really see much in the way of bashing seemed more of a comparison to illustrate Hobbs work. Like it or not Ashs successes or failures will always be compared to what Schiano or Flood did or didnt do.

Well after reading that I can see why people were not happy and also love that you received an appropriate and swift response from Mr. Hobbs.
