Maybe this isn’t a long term approach, but hear me out. Considering we are 9 days away from the portal opening and no GM yet….how about Pike tries to convince Fran to take that role.
-They seem to have a relationship (Fran called Rutgers all class a few years ago).
-Need to be able to move fast here.
- I believe Fran be able to get paid from Iowa anyway (our comp would just be offsetting the dollars he would get from them)
- Fran to focus on:
—player evaluation
—offensive consulting
- 1 - 2 seasons in less pressure (breather role)
