It can take a couple of years before a lineman recruit makes a dent in the the two deep, but how is Seymour doing?
Updates on weight room numbers? Current weight?
What does he need to work on?

Hopefully he and Wilkins can get some good playing time this year considering we graduate a bunch of dline talent after this season

Good question to follow up on. He was a guy that I was really high on when we signed him. Hopefully like you said, patience will be the key and over a couple of years he'll be able to develop into a contributer.

I guess what I'm asking is : can the site do more individual player updates ?

I'd sign up for premium again if they had more of this

First, access was very limited in the spring. Secondly, reporting on individual players has always been controlled. You get comments made by the coach and brief comments about who stood out at practice.

There is an updated depth chart pinned to the top here. It was updated not too long ago. It's very informative.

Seymour appears to be 3rd Nose Tackle. He should get more and more snaps as the season goes on. An injury to either Sebastian or Wilkens. And then he'll see a ton of action.

Shawn and Bobby have addressed this on premium. They really can't do that many updates on players down on the depth chart because the team has to make players available for interviews. They'll gladly provide feedback from what they see at practices in the spring/summer/fall, but outside of that, it's not really like recruiting where they can just go and contact these kids anytime.

I hear you.
I've just seen that sort of thing from other team's sites. They do q and a's with players and coaches - not just football related stuff either.

You mean the depth chart that includes high school players on it ?

Yes the depth chart with HS players on it. Who are just stuck on the end of their respective positions so people can see what we've recruited so far, so it doesn't impact the actual chart.

The thing is he currently plays a position where there are 2 players ahead of him with eligibility thru 2017. It will be hard to move up short of injury.

In fact it appears 14 of the 18 DE/DT on the roster this year have eligibility at least thru 2017.

Hey, at the end of the day, we would like to be playing guys who are over 20 yrs old on the line. So if Kamaal takes a couple of years before he can crack the 2 deep, it's not necessarily a bad thing.
We seem to have some horses to work with for the next few years.

I'd be curious to see where the 2017s would be on the depth charts if they were freshmen right now. I would think WR and LB would look a lot different.

Yes, it appears the one unit Ash and Co inherited where he has a significant number of bodies to work with more than 1 year is the DL. With 3 5th year starters he hopefully has the luxury of working with them for a year and a half before they need to be "the guy" at their respective positions.
