How was the crowd last night?

Sunday at msg will have a sparse crowd too, but I think a lot of RU fans are going to come out of the woodwork for next Friday @ Seton Hall.
Imagine what a win vs The Hall would do for the psyche of the RU fanbase.

Seton Hall will draw to some extent but it's 2 days before Christmas (never a good sell) and in Newark. One is paying $15+ for the train even before the ticket, any food and else. At the rate RU is playing would have drawn much better later as the game may well decide a postseason birth for both teams.

No one is paying $15 for a train ride? Huh?

How much is parking for games at The RAC?

Plus, you can park at The Rock anywhere from $5 to $20 within a few blocks.
Going to The Rock is much easier for a lot of RU alums compared to trekking all the way down to Piscataway.

timing is issue. Wanted to go and planned to go until it became the 1 night my extended family could come over. won't even be able to watch the game on the set. Otherwise I think a game in the holiday pre-window is cool. Puts ME in the spirit.

Talk to me when the student section is FULL. And by "full" I mean all 3 sections, packed top-to-bottom, without Smith's band taking up 30 freakin' rows.

My schedule doesn't allow me to make it to most games, but was there last night... bought a ticket in the 300s and had my pick of seats pretty much anywhere in the 200 section. Was really hoping that after a 9-1 start, with an opponent we should beat, and no home game until 1/1 that it would have bumped the attendance.

They let you move to an empty seat in the 200 level?
Last year ushers kept the middle of the 200 section empty rather than let those who bought cheaper 200 level seats from moving to mid-court

It's not a matter of moving down to the 200 level, but never climbing the steps up to the 300 level to begin with. Instead of walking past 20 nearly empty rows, just pick one to stop and sit down in.

Yes students will be back from Nebraska on 1/21. That should be a great atmosphere that game

Unfortunately, we very well could be on a losing streak by then given how tough the Big10 schedule is. Hope not.

I have to think the students, if back, will be in attendance in fairly big numbers.. They came out in great numbers for football-even at the end of the year. The B1G puts out a great product.

I think the students understand were in a rebuilding phase. However, they also know Pikiell's team plays hard, plays great D and frankly (as others have said the league isn't incredibly strong this year) is capable of beating anyone on any night. The students R hungry for a winner and this team has a shot at postseason play if they play to their potential. Given my past experience I think the student section will be a tough ticket by late January. Also in the past when the team is good they seem to be able to either get to games-or get tickets into other hands-while on break.
