Kudos to the job by EJ and Staff and I sincerely and seriously hope that the mess occurring on the Football side of things has no negative impact to Basketball......

Kids are gullible; they read what has occurred and you can bet that coaches will use this against recruiting targets of ours....

Hopefully I'm just paranoid.....

Some has to do with flood. Parents/recruits who are smart won't buy into the negative hype. Two different sports, two different coaches.

Props to EJ. Even if he doesn't win 18 games this year, still like the fact he seemingly sets a good example.

I don't think so. If anything, knowing they can be the campus darlings with a little success might even be a draw. It's the parents I would worry about, as they might start wondering what the hell goes on at Rutgers.

I never liked Flood and wanted him fired years ago as a lousy assistant, but honestly, did any of the issues that plagued mens bball not that long ago impact football?

Not sure when the shoe is on the other foot why it would impact here.

My worry is other football schools using it against us to get a leg-up--but Flood has not been a good recruiter to begin with, which may be partly why we are in this.

Let's not over-react.
