In the end, he may have been at little over his head, but I always thought that he gave it his all. He was an honorable guy in my opinion, and he cared about his players. He NEVER would have left us at the altar. He held a class together that could have easily fallen apart, and he had a heavy burden to lift. It was just too heavy for him.
Having said that, I'm excited about new beginnings. Ash seems like a good hire. I'm not as concerned with the offense as some on the board are, but our defense was absolutely abysmal. Soulless. Wholesale changes in that unit wouldn't bother me one bit. As one poster stated earlier though, it would be awesome to have Rossi back as special teams coach, I believe that is his wheelhouse.
Overall we need an attitude adjustment. A proven winner at a high level is something that we've never really enjoyed. Here's to breaking the mold!
