Assuming we can pay about $500-600k who do you think would be a good choice?

For those in the know, which mid-majors run our offense where we can pluck an experienced OC?
Which head coaches got fired who are offensive guys and know our system?

Here is an old article listing the schools running the spread offense. I am guessing the list has changed a bit:

If Ash goes back to Ohio St for someone maybe he can sway Tim Beck away. It looks like he makes $525k plus bonuses. It may take $600-700k to get him to Rutgers. At Ohio St he is Co-Offensive coordinator where at Rutgers he would be "the OC". Maybe even make him Associate Head Coach and OC.

$500-600k????

We were paying DM $450k which was the most Rutgers has ever paid an OC in school history. Unless it is a big name, we will not pay more than that.

Should know more by the end of the week.

Joe Rossi is available. He's already coached dc, and special teams. He would be a natural fit at oc.
