I'm guessing 90% of those are swimming medals. I swear every time I turned around, the commentators were talking about a swimmer being from Cal or Stanford.

Don't forget Oregon Track and Field. I read they have more participants than over 100 countries have total on their Olympic teams.

A little of everything. The PAC is pretty diversified in sports hence the reason it has far more NCAA championships than any other conference. Washington is usually strong in rowing and it has two medals in Brazil in that sport atm.

Hats off to the PAC-12. Good stuff.

Would like to see National Championship numbers for sports where at least 75% of major schools participate. No offense to water polo, and ski teams. To me, this is why the Director's Cup is flawed. How many schools have a water polo team. You get points for that.

Does the Pac-12 think it is in the same league as the SEC or B1G in football or even the ACC and B1G in basketball?
The B1G has Ohio St., MSU and all of a sudden Michigan again and the 11 dwarves.

The SEC sticks to a 8 game conference schedule so it can work the system. That no testicle conference voted 13 - 1 in favor of not playing its own conference members in order to schedule more Sisters of the Poor. That conference is a scam, hence the reason the SEC West went 2 - 5 in bowls the year before last.

UCLA has 11 natties in basketball... game on.

Some schools put all the money into a few sports .. the SEC is one of them, and the PAC spreads the money around to many sports. Kind of like academics .. the SEC could give a sh1t less about academics.

with all those damn swimming and beach volleyball BS medals you guys should just relax about this medal count stuff.. we all know there is medal inflation going on here.
